Abstract

The research was conducted to find out the fish species inhabiting in the Engiz Stream between May 2004 and August 2005. As
a result of evaluated individuals caught from study area, 12 species and 2 subspecies belongs to 5 families (Cyprinidae, Balitoridae,
Mugilidae, Pomatomidae and Gobiidae) were identified. The systematic characters of each species were explained.
