Abstract

The optimization of therapy dosages in the healthcare field is an intricate and varied endeavor, frequently confronted with the inherent imprecision and variability observed in patient situations. This study introduces a Fuzzy Logic Approach for Treatment Dosage Recommendations, utilizing the capabilities of fuzzy logic to offer a sophisticated and flexible decision support system. The suggested methodology incorporates essential patient variables, such as age, intensity of symptoms, and test findings, into a fuzzy logic framework. Membership functions are specifically devised to encompass the intrinsic uncertainty and imprecision that is commonly associated with medical data, hence enabling a more adaptable depiction of patient attributes. Fuzzy rules are derived from the expertise of professionals and therapeutic guidelines, thereby generating a knowledge-based framework for determining optimal dosage recommendations. The fuzzy inference engine analyzes the provided rules, taking into account the fuzzy connections between input variables, and produces dose recommendations together with their corresponding membership degrees. The techniques of fuzzification and defuzzification allow the system to smoothly move between crisp and fuzzy representations, hence facilitating a seamless conversion of input data into actionable dosage recommendations. The system's adaptability is augmented by ongoing learning mechanisms, enabling it to dynamically modify its recommendations in response to patient feedback and experiences. The integration of transparency and interpretability into the decision-making process serves as a means to address ethical considerations. The system offers comprehensive rationales for dosage recommendations, so enabling healthcare professionals and cultivating confidence in the decision support system. Preliminary assessments demonstrate the efficacy of employing the fuzzy logic methodology to address uncertainties and variations in a wide range of clinical circumstances. Comparative evaluations conducted in relation to traditional approaches have revealed a notable enhancement in accuracy and adaptability. These findings underscore the possibility for improved patient outcomes and the provision of individualized care. The incorporation of fuzzy logic methodology into electronic health records facilitates uninterrupted retrieval of extensive patient information, hence enhancing the dependability and pertinence of therapy dosage suggestions. This study presents a Fuzzy Logic Approach as a reliable and effective alternative for providing treatment dosage recommendations in the field of healthcare. The proposed technique is a helpful tool for healthcare practitioners in their efforts to enhance the precision and personalization of treatment decisions within a dynamic clinical environment, by embracing uncertainty and reacting to developing patient situations.
