Abstract

In this study, the simulation of the solar energy power plant to be established in the Viranşehir Elbeğendi region of Şanlıurfa was done with the help of the PVsyst simulation program. According to the data we obtained as a result of the simulation, it was determined that the string and final efficiency reached their highest values in June. It is observed that the performance rate remains at lower values in the summer months, when the radiation value is highest, than in the Winter and Spring months, when the radiation value is relatively less. Although the highest radiation value occurs in June, July and August, the performance rate (PR) remains at a lower value than in December, January and February, due to the decrease in panel efficiency due to high temperatures.lthough the highest radiation value occurs in June, July and August, the performance rate (PR) remains at a lower value than in December, January and February, due to the decrease in panel efficiency due to high temperatures. According to the simulation results we have obtained, it is estimated that our power plant can produce an average of 4022.5 MWh of energy per year. The data provided to us by these types of simulation programs are calculated according to the situations in which all conditions are optimal. Obtaining performance parameters by conducting simulations of solar power plants planned to be established with the help of simulation programs is very important for the evaluation of our power plant. Thus, results that will contribute to the studies aimed at further increasing the performance of our power plant are obtained.btaining performance parameters by conducting simulations of solar power plants planned to be established with the help of simulation programs is very important for the evaluation of our power plant. Thus, results that will contribute to the studies aimed at further increasing the performance of our power plant are obtained. However, in practice, power outages, system failures, environmental conditions, etc. since there are reasons such as many parameters that prevent the full-time operation of the system and cause it to fail, the actual data may therefore be slightly below the simulation value. In this direction, the data obtained from the simulation can be compared with the actual data of a previously established power plant in the same region, so that its reliability and reality can be analyzed more clearly.
