In the two-lane two-way rural roads of rural, the curved sections deteriorate further than the straight section. In this research, we investigate
a significant relationship between the distress position and geometric characteristics of roads. For this purpose, many samples of the distress
measurement of three roads in three different regions are obtained. The results show that in the mountainous region, there is strong relationship
between Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and geometric characteristics.
