Abstract

Abstract

In this paper we have to select the appropriate suppliers for purchasing the required raw materials and appropriate distributors for distributing the final product to different areas of market on the basis of both qualitative and quantitative criterias by utilizing a most famous multi-criteria decision making (M.C.D.M) approach known as Analytic Hierarchy Process (A.H.P). This selection is carried out in two stages by using a same A.H.P method and then proposed a fuzzy multi-objective linear programming model which optimize the selective criterias of this selection which directly influence the planning of production-distribution in supply chain management. Now we have to illustrate the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed methodology discussed in this paper by taking a numerical example. Finally at the end of this paper the conclusion of this research work has been presented.
