Abstract

We have proposed a tunable two dimensional photonic crystal channel-drop fi lter (C DF) u sing ri ng resonators with s uitable q uality fa ctor and
transmission e fficiency; w e i nvestigate p arameters w hich a ffects r esonant w avelength i n t his C DF, s uch a s d ielectric c onstant of i nner, c oupling,
adjacent and whole rods of the structure and radius of inner rods. Dropping efficiency at the resonance and quality factor (Q) of our proposed CDF are
100% and 196, respectively. The footprint of the proposed structure is about 125μm2.
